Woman's body found in fields

Fatehgarh Sahib, Oct 9 (UNI) A naked body of an unidentified woman was today found in the fields under Bajidpur village on Morinda Road near here.

Aged around 50, the dead woman was lying in the fields of one Inder Singh, who had noticed the corpse this morning. He immediately informed the Bassi Pathana police station.

A case of murder has been registered against unidentified person(s). The body was kept at Civil Hospital, Bassi Pathana for identification.
