Rain washes out play at Bangkok Open
BANGKOK, Oct 9 (Reuters) Persistent rain forced the cancellation of play on the opening day of the WTA Bangkok Open today.
First round matches between Jamea Jackson of the United States and Melinda Czink of Hungary, and Germany's Julia Schruff against Finland's Emma Laine will instead be played tomorrow, organisers said.
Rain and thunder storms have been forecast for the rest of the week.
