'Putin, Bush agree on joint N Korea response'

Moscow, Oct 9: Russian President Vladimir Putin and US President George W. Bush agreed in a telephone conversation today on the need for a coordinated response to North Korea's nuclear test, the Kremlin said.

''The presidents share the view that North Korea's ... actions are damaging for the non-proliferation regime and in this connection note the need for coordinated actions to resolve this problem,'' the Kremlin press service said.
