Notification issued for the Koderma by-poll

Ranchi, Oct 09 (UNI) The election procedure for Koderma by-poll began today after the notification in this regard was issued today.

Jharkhand's Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Devashish Gupta told UNI here that notification in this regard was issued today according to which the nominations would be filed till October 16.

Mr Gupta said the inquiry of nomination papers would be on October 17 and last date of withdrawal is October 19.

Vote and counting would be done on November 6 and 9 respectively for the by-poll.

District electoral officer for Koderma by-poll cum Deputy Commissioner of Giridih Vinay Kumar Ambastha said no nomination was filed on the first day.
