Maoist arrested in AP

Nalgonda, Andhra Pradesh, Oct 9 (UNI) Police has arrested one naxal belonged to the CPI (Maoist) party near Velvarthi village at Valigonda mandal in this district.

Acting on a tip off, a police went to the village and arrested Krishnapatti Maoist Dalam member MD Abbas.

The extremist, who hailed from the village, was involved in the attack on Atmakur police station last year.
