Lalu assures action against erring CRPF

Patna, Oct 9 (UNI) Railway Minister Lalu Prasad today said to take stringent action against the CRPF personnel for misbehaving with a few school students travelling in Awadh-Assam express at Katihar raiway station near here.

Mr Prasad while talking to the newsmen expressed his shock and said the children desrve sympathetic and friendly behaviour from all.

''Instead of helping, hostility against children is deplorable and action would be initiated against the guilty ones,''he said.

The 28 CRPF personnel were detained by the railway police for misbehaving the school students on charges of illegally occupying the coach allotted for the students in Awadh-Assam express.
