Hutch on expansion mode in Kerala

Kozhikode, Oct 9 (UNI) Leading cullular service provider Hutch today announced strengthening of its operations in northern Kerala with opening of service centres at Vadakara in the district and Kottakkal in the neighbouring Malappuram.

Two outlets, which have connectivity and online access to the central server located hundreds of miles away, were inaugurated by chief operating officer of Kerala region K Sankara Narayanan, according to a release.

The customers can activate a Hutch connection, pay bills, get information related to its operation, activate and deactivate value added services like roaming, seek live demos and also get their queries answered at the centres, he said.

Claiming that Hutch has been growing at a past pace and covered over 500 towns in the state, he said sharp increase in the customer base had prompted the company to open new service centres in the state.

The company was planning to commission more such centres in the state as per the increased demands, the release added.
