Hutch introduces World Calling Card for Punjab subscribers
Chandigarh, Oct 9 (UNI) Leading telecom provider, Hutch today introduced the World Calling Card, an economical long distance calling solution, for its postpaid and prepaid customers in Punjab.
Available in denominations of Rs 110 and Rs 550, the World Calling Card will enable the subscribers to make STD and ISD calls at lower rates without making any security deposits towards subscription to the service.
Giving details on the card, Hutch Punjab CEO Arun Kapoor, said here that the World Calling Card has an excellent value proposition as it offers long distance calls at up to 30 per cent lower tariffs than those presently offered by any landline or mobile service provider.
''This innovation will make long distance calling more affordable by encouraging increased usage of mobile telephony,'' he added.
Through this card, callers to the US/Canada/UK (landline), Europe (landline) would save up to 50 per cent as compared to prevailing mobile and landline tariffs.
Callers to Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia and Hong Kong, would save up to 37 per cent as compared to prevalent mobile tariffs and about 40 per cent when compared to landlines.
