Congress High command to decide on Karimnagar by-poll

Hyderabad, Oct 9 (UNI) Stating that the Telangana issue was before Congress President Sonia Gandhi, Andhra Pradesh Labour Minister G Vinod today said the High Command would decide on the Karimnagar byelection only after the notification by the Election Commisison.

Talking to newspersons here, he said the party would project achievements of the UPA Government at the Centre and the Congress Government in the State.

On the issue of statehood for Telangana, he said the matter was in the hands of Ms Gandhi and she would take a decision at the appropriate time.
