ATTF woman cadres surrender
Agartala, Oct 9 (UNI) Two women members, including wife of a 'Lieutenant' of banned All Tripura Tiger Force (ATTF), surrendered before security forces last night in Tripura's west district to return to normal life after ten years.
Police sources said here today that wife of 'self-styled' 'Lieutenant' Ranjit Debbarma of the ATTF Sabita Debbar who had been living in Satchari camp in Bangladesh surrendered to the SDPO of Teliamura police station. However, she did not deposit any arms and ammunition.
She said she had crossed the international border with the help of another person and entered into India.
She, along with two other friends, had joined the underground outfit in 1997.
