3 killed in sudden explosion

Lucknow, Oct 9 (UNI) At least three people were killed and seven others injured in a sudden explosion under Chakeri police station area of Kanpur City this evening.

According to police here, the victims were making fire-crackers in hutments of Bibipur village, when the explosion took place.

Three of them died on the spot. Seven injured had been admitted to hospital. Senior officials had rushed to the spot.
