Zimbabwe bundled out for 85
Ahmedabad, Oct 8 (UNI) West Indies today bundled out Zimbabwe for a paltry 85 in 30.1 overs to take control in the ICC Champions Trophy qualifying match at the Sardar Patel Stadium, Motera here.
Electing to bat after winning the toss, Zimbabwe put up another spineless batting performance folding up for 85 in just 30.1 overs with opener T V Mufambisi scoring 18 which had two boundaries in a stay of 31 balls. P Utseya was the top scorer at 27.
This was the eighth time that the Zimbabweans have been dismissed for less than 100.
This was also their lowest Champions Trophy score, beating the previous 145 against England in England in the last edition.
For West Indies, Chris Gayle was the most successful bowler with 3 wickets for three runs, while Jerome Taylor and Dwanyne Smith took two wickets each.
