Three villagers beheaded by CPI(Maoist)

Chatra, Oct 8 (UNI) The banned CPI (Maoist) ultras beheaded three villagers accusing them of being police informers in Jharkhand's Chatra district today.

The incident took place at Giddor block of Bariyatu village under Itkhori police station.

Police said the ultras came to Bartwa village at dawn today and picked up the three. After beheading them the CPI (Maoist) ultras left the bodies on the Chatra-Hazaribag road near Bariyatu village.

They also left a note with the bodies which accused them of being police informers.

The ultras also warned the rest of the villagers not to commit such mistake.

The vicitims were identified as Basarat Miyan, Younus Miyan and Phulchand Munda.

Poilce have taken the bodies and intensified operation in the area.
