Three arrested while unearthing huge dump

Nizamabad, Andhra Pradesh, Oct 8 (UNI) Police today unearthed a huge dump and arrested three people near Kaligoda forest area at Jakranpally mandal in this district.

Producing the unearthed dump and arrested persons before newspersons here, Superintendent of Police (SP) Mahesh Chadra Laddah said eight pocket bombs and eight detonators were recovered from the dump.

Mr Laddah said the district Maoist Dalam Commander Satish had planted the bombs and detonators to blast Jakranpally Mandal Development Office and bank during the panchayat elections held recently.

Three persons including the Mandal Parishad Territorial Constitutency (MPTC) member Sukhendar, who belonged to the opposition Telugu Desam Party (TDP) were arrested in this connection.
