Bellary records maximum tempewrature 33.1 deg celsius

Bangalore, Oct 08 (UNI) Following is a summary of observations recorded by the weather office at 0830 hours today.

Rainfall occurred at many places over Coastal Karnataka and at a few places over Interior Kaarnataka.

Chief amounts of rainfall (cm): Shirali, Koppal, Naghathan 5 each; Honavaar, Naragund, Bhagamandala 4 each; Panambur, Mangalore AP, Karwar, Gadag 3 each; Siddapur, Gerosoppa, Kerur, Thirthahalli, Bangaarpet 2 each; Hubli, Ramnagar 1 each.

Maximum temperatures fell at a few places over Coastal Karnataka and North Interior Karnataka and changed little over South Interior Karnataka. They were normal over the State. Minimum temperatures changed little and were normal over the State.

Bellary recorded highest maximum temperature of 33.1 deg.

Celsius and Belgaum AP recorded the lowest minimum temperature of 20.2 deg. Celsius over the State.

Forecast valid until Tuesday morning: Rain/thundershowers likely to occur at most places over Coastal Karnataka and at a few places over Interior Karnataka.

Farmers Weather Bulletin: Moderate to heavy rain likely to occur at many places over Uttara Kannada, Dakshina Kannada, Udupi, Bidar, Gulbarga, Raichur, Bijapur, Koppal, Bellary, Davanagere, Chitradurga districts and at a few places over remaining districts of the State.

Forecast for Bangalore city: Generally cloudy. Occasional spells of light to moderate rain. Maximum&minimum temperatures would be around 29 deg. Celsius and 20 deg. Celsius respectively.
