Bangarappa demands judicial probe into communal violence
Mangalore, Oct 8 (UNI) Former Karnataka Chief Minister and Samajwadi Party State President S Bangarappa today demanded judicial inquiry into the communal violence in Dakshina Kannada in which two people were killed and more than 100 injured.
Talking to newsmen here, he said that '' Judicial inquiry may take long but it is inevitable and his party would not suggest departmental inquiry since the Government remained a mute spectator.'' Mr Bangarappa alleged that the Janata Dal (Secular) and Bharatiya Janata Party coalition government in the State has totally failed to curb communal violence.
