AMMCOC to impose bandh from tonight

Imphal, Oct 8 (UNI) Demanding the release of All Manipur Muslim Co-Coordinating Committee (AMMCOC) chief auditor Hussain Ahmad, the committee has called for a 24 hour bandh at Thoubal district.

The bandh would be followed by a general strike in East Imphal from the midnight of October 10 to 11 and in West Imphal from the midnight of October 12 to 13.

'' There will be one more at Bishenpur district on October 14 to 15,'' he said The AMMCOC president Abdul M A Khalif had threatened not to allow any candidate to come for electioneering purpose during the next general Assembly bypolls.
