3 CPI (Maoist) ultras arrested

Chatra, Oct 08 (UNI) Police today arrested three CPI (Maoist) naxalites from Pandepura village under Hantarganj police station area in Jharkhand's Chatra district.

Security forces made the arrest during raids on specific tip off.

A motor cycle, three live cartridges and naxal related literature were recovered from their possession.

Superintendent of Police Subodh Prasad said when police team was going past Pandepura-Navadih village, they saw three youth riding a motor cycle from the opposite direction.

As the motor cycle borne youths saw the police they tried to escape.

Police caught them after a chase, he said.
