More Sub-Stations to be installed in State: AP CM
Chittoor, Andhra Pradesh Oct 6(UNI) Andhra Pradesh Government would establish small and major sub-stations at required places in the state, according to Chief Minister Y S Rajashekara Reddy during his three-day visit here today.
While addressing a public meeting at G D Nellore near here, after inaugurating the 400/220 kv massive sub- station at Mahadeva Mangalam in this district, he said the automated sub-station was established at a cost of about Rs 43-crore to provide reliable supply in the district.
Dr Reddy said the Government had waived Rs 1200 crores current dues of farmers and in this district alone Rs 189 crore dues were written off.
The Chief Minister also laid foundation stones and inaugurated various works of about Rs 100-crore. He also laid the foundtion stone for 132/33 kv sub-station at an estimated cost of Rs 5.6 crore and inaugurated 1,73 crore worth cottage at Varasiddhi Vinayaka Swamy temple.
Earlier, Dr Reddy offered worship of Lord Varasiddhi Vinayaka.
