Maoist surrenders in AP

Adilabad, Andhra Pradesh, Oct 7: A naxal belonging to the CPI (Maoist) party, surrendered before Superintendent of Police Kripananda Tripathi Ujela in this district, today.

Mr J Jaithu alias Vinod was the Mangi Dalam Deputy Commander, Mr Tripathi said.

Producing the naxal before the press, Mr Tripathi said Mr Vinod had joined the Maoist party in 2004. He was involved in seven offences.
