Eleven Naxals surrender in AP
Hyderabad, Oct 7 (UNI) Eleven Naxals, including two women belonging to the CPI (Maoist) party, surrendered before police in Mahaboob Nagar and Adilabad districts of Andhra Pradesh today.
Police said ten Naxals, surrendered before DIG Eswar Reddy and Superintendent of Police (SP) Srinivasa Reddy.
Eight of the Naxals belonged to Mahaboob Nagar district and two to Prakasham district. One 303 rifle and a DBBL were recovered from them.
Another Naxal surrendered before Superintendent of Police Kripananda Tripathi Ujela in Adilabad district. J Jaithu alias Vinod was Mangi Dalam Deputy Commander. He had joined the Maoist party in 2004. He was wanted in connection with seven offences.
