Call to protect nature

Visakhapatnam, Oct 7 (UNI) The Indira Gandhi Zoological park today observed the 52nd wild life week in a befitting manner with special emphasis on educating people on conservation.

The District Forest Conservator P V Padmanabham appreciated the students for their overwhelming response for participating in several programmes conducted by the zoo authorities during the week-long celebrations.

He exhorted them to conserverve nature and wildlife by way of propagation and educating the masses. He explained the importance of maintining the balance of nature.
