AP experiences rain

Hyderabad, Oct 7 (UNI) Rain occurred at a few places over Rayalaseema region of Andhra Pradesh in the last 24 hours, with sporadic rain over Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

The Met office said light to moderate rain or thundershowers were likely at a few places over Rayalaseema and in the districts of Krishna, Guntur, Ongole and Nellore of Coastal Andhra Pradesh in the next 48 hours. Isolated rain was likely over Telangana and in the remaining districts of Coastal Andhra Pradesh during the period.

Parts of the capital might experience rain in the evening.

The temperature ranged between 22 degrees C and 32 degrees C.

In other parts of Andhra, they were above normal. The highest maximum temperature of 38 deg C was recorded at Nellore. The lowest minimum temperature of 19 deg C was recorded at Arogyavaram.

The chief amounts of rainfall recorded (in cm) were Mahabubnagar 6, Chittoor 4, Kuppam, Porumamilla, Wanaparthy 3 each, Kurnool, Badvel and Macherla 2 each.
