ULFA man killed in Army encounter

Guwahati, Oct 6 (UNI) An ULFA militant was killed in an encounter with Army troops the Namrup-Digboi road this morning.

Police sources informed that the encounter took place on the Dilli bridge at about 0430 hours.

Five ULFA militants were involved in the encounter, of which one was killed. The others managed to escape, the sources added.
