Total foreign reserves put at USD 165.305 bn
Mumbai, Oct 6 (UNI) According to the weekly statistical report presented by the Reserve Bank of India the Total Foreign reserves as on September 29, stood at US Dollar 165.305 billion.
The Foreign currency assets too, for the same date stood at USD 158.340 billion.
Besides, maintaining the best international practice India's reserve position in the IMF as on Sept 29 was at US Dollar 76.2 billion.
The total bank credit as on Sept 15 was at Rs 16,07,518 crore, where the Food credit was put at Rs 36,396 crore and the non food credit was at Rs 15,71,122 crore.
Besides, the outstandings that accrue out of accommodation provided by the scheduled commercial banks to commercial sector in the form of bank credit and investment shares/debentures/bonds etc as on September 15 was Rs 1,03579 crore.
Loans and advances given to the State government as on September 29 stood at Rs 242 crore.
