Rs 350-cr scheme for Raipur

Raipur, Oct 6 (UNI) The Chhattisgarh government has approved a Rs 350-crore scheme for solving the state capital's potable water problem.

Official sources said today that work would soon begin on the scheme, which would ensure that the city did not have any such problem for the next five decades.

Construction of underground drains was approved in principle and funds are expected to be released shortly.
