One killed in naxal attack
Jagdalpur, Oct 6 (UNI) A man died and a special police officer (SPO) injured during a naxalite attack in Chhattisgarh's Dantewara district, police said today.
About 80 people, including policemen, were returning from Polampalli village last evening when naxals opened fire upon them forcing police to retaliate.
Kattam Hadma (32), involved in anti-naxalite 'Salwa Judum' movement, while a SPO was injured and admitted to Doranpal Hospital.
In a separate incident, naxals stabbed Lekam Sona (23) to death on October 4 at Jameli village in the Bijapur Police District.
