NSCN(IM) takes exception to " Quit" notice
Kohima, Oct 6 (UNI) Taking strong exception to the ''Quit'' notice to the Tangkhul community from Nagaland, NSCN(IM) chairman Isak Chishi Swu today expressed disgust over the ''desperate and frustrated'' actions of the NSCN(K).
In a statement here, he alleged that the NSCN(K) had been stunted by parochialism.
Making scathing attack on the alleged propaganda of the rival group to spread discord and disunity by issuing ''the'' notice, he claimed. The rival NSCN(K)'s motive was only to ''derail'' the NSCN-IM negotiation with the Centre.
Regardless of their action, the NSCN(IM), however, had decided to extend hand of friendship to the Khaplang faction, saying the hard earned peace process could not go off the.
He invited all Nagas, irrespective of their standings, to participate in the peace process, and maintained that the NSCN(IM) would stand firm on its principles and fight to the last.
