Murder accused arrested from Jagat Singh's quarters

Jaipur, Oct 6 (UNI) A murder accused was arrested from the MLA quarters of Jagat Singh here tonight.

Mehram Chaudhary, the main accused in the Babulal Gujjar murder case under Badi Kattu police station in Nagaur district, was arrested from the MLA quarters of Jagat Singh, son of former External Affairs Minister Natwar Singh.

Babulal Gujjar was murdered on February 3 this year.

On a tip-off, the police raided the quaters of Jagat Singh and arrested Mehram Chaudhary. Jagat, who was also present in the house, somehow managed to give the police the slip.

Chaudhary had bolted the house from inside and opened the door at about 1945 hrs when the police team laid siege to the house and nabbed him.
