Monsoon weak over interior Karnataka
Bangalore, Oct 6 (UNI) Following is a summary of observations recorded by the Weather Office here at 0830hrs today.
Monsoon was weak over Interior Karnataka. Rainfall occurred at many places over Coastal Karnataka and at isolated places over Interior Karnataka.
Chief amounts of rainfall(cm): Karwar 4, Mani, Ankola 3 each, Mangalore AP, Chintamani 2 each, Bantwal, Dharmasthala, Karkala, Honavar, Sirsi, Londa, Aurad, Ponampet 1 each.
Maximum temperatures changed little and were normal over State. Minimum temperatures changed little and were normal over the State.
Raichur recorded highest maximum temperature of 33.1 deg.
Celsius and Chamarajnagara lowest minimum temperature of 19.6 deg.

Forecast valid until Sunday morning: Rain/thundershowers likely to occur at many places over Coastal Karnataka and at isolated places over Interior Karnataka.
Farmers Weather Bulletin: Moderate to heavy rain likely to occur at a few places over all the districts of Coastal Karnataka. Light to moderate rain likely to occur at isolated places over Tumkur, Bangalore Urban, Bangalore Rural, Kolar and Bellary districts of South Interior Karnataka. Mainly dry weather may prevail over remaining districts of Interior Karnataka.
Local forecast: Generally cloudy. A spell of light rain in some areas.
Maximum and minimum temperatures would be around 30 deg. Celsius and 20 deg. Celsius respectively.
