Engineer convicted for bribe

Bhopal, Oct 6 (UNI) A special court in Raisen has sentenced one year rigorous imprisonment and fine of Rs 500 to a junior engineer of State Electricity Board for taking bribe of Rs 2000.

Lokayukta police caught Santosh Kumar Malaviya while accepting the bribe from Lamta village resident Kesar Singh in 2004 for changing the transformer.
