Dry spell continues in Delhi
New Delhi, Oct 6 (UNI) It was another dry day in Delhi today even as cool North Westerly winds continued to provide relief from humid weather.
The clear sky and bright sunlight led to a rise in maximum temperature to 37.4 degrees Celsius, three degrees above normal.
The dry weather, which has been witnessed in the capital over the last ten days, continued today.
The dryness is likely to persist in the coming days with the South West Monsoon withdrawing from some more parts of North West India on Wednesday.
Following its exit from several parts of West Uttar Pradesh and East Uttar Pradesh on Wednesday, the Monsoon has now withdrawn from almost the entire North West India which indicates that the dry spell could continue in the coming days.
Weathermen have forecast a dry weather in North West India in the coming three to four days.
For Delhi, weathermen forecast a mainly clear sky during the next 24 hours. A maximum temperature of 37 degrees Celsius is expected tomorrow, they said.
