Police constable shot dead

Lucknow, Oct 5 (UNI) A police constable was today shot dead by unidentified miscreants in Kotwali area of Gonda district.

Police said here Sanjay Singh, posted at Itiathok police station, was riding his motorcycle this morning, when criminals shot at him.

He died on the spot, while the assailants managed to escape.

A case had been registered and investigations were on.
