Monsoon departing from MP
Bhopal, Oct 5 (UNI) The Southwest Monsoon has begun departing from Madhya Pradesh and scorching heat has become the order of the day as the mercury touched the 40 degrees Celsius mark at Sheopur Kalan.
The maximum is three to four degrees above normal in the state capital and other places.
''The monsoon left northern Madhya Pradesh yesterday. Moisture prevails in Indore region due to upper air cyclonic circulation over Maharashtra,'' said Regional Meteorological Centre Director D P Dubey.
The monsoon broke over the state on June 29, about a fortnight behind schedule, but was healthy as 34 districts received excess rain.
