Mild tremor experienced in Indo-Nepal border

Dehra Dun, Oct 5 (UNI) Mild tremor measuring 3.4 on Richter scale occurred in Indo-Nepal border areas along Dharchula in Uttaranchal early today.

According to the Disaster Management and Mitigation Centre the epicenter of the earthquake which occurred at 0305 hrs was 29.7 degree North latitude and 80.6 degree East longitude at Nepal, South East of Dharchula.

No casualties or loss of property has been reported. However Uttaranchal Chief Minister N D Tiwari has asked all District Administration to be prepared to meet any unpredicted natural calamity.
