Malaria under control in MP, says Govt
Bhopal, Oct 5 (UNI) The government today claimed malaria was under control in Madhya Pradesh as about 10,000 establishments were available for treatment of patients with fever.
A total of 35,160 malaria patients were detected so far this year from 50 lakh blood samples collected. Of them, 7149 were found to be 'palsiparam malaria' cases as compared to 8368 such cases detected last year, Health Commissioner Rajesh Rajora said.
A total of 52,830 malaria cases were detected in the state during 2004 and 32,223 last year, he said.
