Jamuna fires broadside against RSS
Bhopal, Oct 5 (UNI) Leader of Opposition in the Madhya Pradesh Assembly Jamuna Devi today sent Governor Balram Jakhar ''evidence'' of the involvement of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh in politics and demanded cancellation of lifting a ban on government employees taking part in RSS activities.
''In 2002, the RSS fielded 11 candidates for the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly elections by floating the Jammu State Morcha,'' she said in a missive to the governor.
Ms Devi also provided details of RSS spokesman Ram Madhav's role in the Morcha's formation, seat-sharing with the Bharatiya Janata Party and post-poll reactions.
''The Madhya Pradesh government is misleading citizens by describing the RSS as a cultural organisation,'' she alleged.
