GPF amount looted from retired Patwari

Chhatarpur, MP, Oct 5 (UNI) A retired Patwari was robbed of his GPF savings totalling Rs 4.61 lakh by a motor cyclist after throwing chilli powder in his eyes.

The incident took place in Orchha area of this district yesterday.

Police said retired Patwari Ganesh Prasad Omre along with his friend was coming to Chhattarpur town on a motor cycle when they pushed them down. After throwing chilli powder in their eyes, the bag containing the amount was taken.
