Dengue death in MP
Bhopal, Oct 5 (UNI) One person has succumbed to dengue and three others displayed symptoms of the ailment, a local hospital claimed today.
''Dengue's entry into Madhya Pradesh cannot be denied but the Delhi-based National Institute of Communicable Diseases and Pune's National Institute of Virology are yet to confirm the case in the state,'' said Commissioner (Health) Rajesh Rajora while declining comment on the hospital's claim.
National Hospital Director P K Pande said two patients' blood samples were sent to a private pathology laboratory in Delhi, which confirmed dengue.
''K S Thakur died while another was discharged,'' he added.
