BJP accuses Govt of conspiracy to save Afzal Guru

Jammu, Oct 4: The Jammu and Kashmir BJP today accused the Congress-led UPA coalition at the Centre of ''conspiring'' to save Mohammad Afzal Guru, who is facing death sentence in the Parliament attack case.

Party spokesperson Prof Hari Om, talking to mediapersons, also criticised the Union Home Ministry's decision to hold the execution of Afzal Guru, which was scheduled for October 20.

He said he was awarded death penalty through a due process of law and also had legal remedy.
