YSR reviews Fab City project
Hyderabad, Oct 3 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy held discussions with top officials and SemIndia Chairman and CEO Vinod K Agarwal on the progress of the Fab City Project.
An official release here said the Chief Minister was informed that work on the first phase of the project was proceeding in full swing.
Fab City had been allocated and transferred 300 acre of land for infrastructure development. The board of directors, which included three representatives of the state government, had taken various decisions, including leasing of land.
The Chief Minister was informed that SemIndia, which was setting up the project, had already started work on Phase I of the project on ATMP (Assembly, Test, Marking and Packing) with a team of international and local experts.
SemIndia had also engaged Ramky Group as consultants for applying for appropriate clearances. The construction work on ATMP plant would start immediately after all clearances were obtained.
