Two US soldiers killed in Afghanistan clash

Kabul, Oct 3: Two US soldiers and an Afghan soldier were killed and three American soldiers were wounded in a clash in the eastern Afghan province of Kunar, Afghanistan's US-led coalition force said today.

''The soldiers were operating as part of a combat patrol that made contact with enemy extremists,'' the US military said of the late-yesterday's clash in the province's Pech district.
