Two naxals slain in Chhattisgarh

Jagdalpur, Oct 3 (UNI) Two naxals were shot dead during an encounter this evening with a Central Reserve Police Force and district police joint patrol in the Sarkeguda forest of Chhattisgarh's tribal-dominated and extremism-affected Dantewada district.

''Crossfire ensued and reports say that the encounter is still in progress. An additional force, led by senior officers, has rushed for the site,'' said Bijapur's Superintendent of Police Ratanlal Dangi.
