Two killed in road accident in Bihar

Hajipur, Oct 3 (UNI) At least two people were killed and 22 injured when a Lalganj-Kharauna bus skidded of the road and fell into ditch near Jalalpur village under Lalganj police station in Vaishali district last night.

Sub-divisional officer B K Sinha said here today that the accident occurred when the driver lost control over the vehicle.

Most of the passengers hailed from Lalganj, he added.

Two of the injured passengers were referred to Patna Medical College Hospital, while the remaining injured were admitted to Hajipur Sadar hospital.

The driver of the bus managed to flee from the spot.
