Silver, gold decline on lack of fresh demand

Mumbai, Oct 3 (UNI) Values of silver and gold declined on lack of fresh demand in the opening session, traders at the bullion market said today.

Following were today's opening spot rates : Silver (per kg) .999 fineness grade : Rs 18,440 Gold (per 10 gm): Gold 99.5 purity standard mint: : Rs 8,955, Gold 99.9 purity variety : Rs 9,005.
