RPI minister Dayanand Mhaske to resign
Mumbai, Oct 3 (UNI) Maharashtra Minister of State for Housing Dayanand Mhaske, will submit his resignation today as his tenure is over.
''Today I will submit my resignation to the Chief Minister as per the directions of party chief Ramdas Athavale,'' Mr Mhaske told UNI.
Mr Mhaske, the only Republican Party of India(A) minister in the State Cabinet, completed his six year term in the Legislative Council, ending in July and continued in the ministry for two more months.
However, now with RPI(A) MLC is likely to take oath as the minister in the State Cabinet soon, Mr Mhaske decided to put down his papers, according to policial sources.
