Pre-flight precautionary checks of Mig-29s
Jalandhar, Oct 3 (UNI) The Adampur-based Indian Airforce (IAF) MiG-29 squadrons are observing all necessary pre-flight checkings of aircraft but routine sorties of these IAF's frontline fighter planes are continuing.
An official spokesman told UNI here today that both the squadrons, based at the Adampur air base, were flying their aircraft on routine sorties.
He said that though extensive pre-flight checks were being undertaken but this drill was not in the wake of any particular accident, rather this was part of the practice.
He said the reports of suspension of flight operations at this base were not correct.
