Man walks to grave after consuming poision

Kolar Gold Fields, Karnataka, Oct 3 (UNI) In an incident that stunned many, a 40-year-old man walked straight to a cemetery soon after consuming poison and died.

The reason behind his act was to save his family the funeral expenses.

The incident occurred in this border town yesterday when the bicycle shop owner, identified as Samuel, disgusted with his life as a raging family dispute which had affected him very much, decided to commit suicide.

Police said in a note Samuel, father of two children, explained that he did not want to burden his family with his funeral expenses hence walked straight to the cemetery after consuming poison. He was later buried at the same place.
