Lord Paul to take over as Westminster's Chancellor next week

London, Oct 3 (UNI) Lord Paul of Marylebone will formally take over as Chancellor of the University of Westminster at a ceremony in London's Banqueting House next week.

Indian-born businessman and chairman of Caparo Group, Lord Paul, 75, became the university's first Chancellor following an announcement in March.

University Vice-Chancellor Dr Geoffrey Copland said, ''The university is honoured that Lord Paul agreed to be our first chancellor. He has been a strong supporter over the years and his commitment to diversity and to international education and partnerships is well known.'' UNI XC PR HS1813
