Licence of ten theatres cancelled

Machilipatnam, Oct 3 (UNI) Licence of ten theatres were cancelled by Krishna District Additional Magistrate S Suresh Kumar for violating the Cinematograhy Act, here.

The licence were cancelled yesterday as the theatres lacked proper facilities like fire protection and sanitation facilities.

In a statement here, Mr Suresh Kumar said the action was taken as the theatres failed to file an explanation to a show cause notice issued to them.
